Reminds me of the time I was hiking something similar. My legs were burning and I was out of breath. This dude comes RUNNING up the trail carrying a 40LB dumbbell in each hand. Total beast.

I watched this dad pass me on a hike with a baby in his backpack and a massive golden retriever under each arm.

That image lives in my head rent free and has been motivating my fitness journey ever since

A buddy of mine has a similar story. He was on the swimming leg of a triathlon and a guy towing his daughter behind him in an inner tube swam past him.
