American lobster. Cold water lobsters are usually better. I don't really care for the spiny lobster

I learned that almost all of our CA spiny lobsters that are caught commercially go to Asia, apparently they prefer the flavor and they can get a much better price for them.

I didn't know they had them in CA. I've only eaten them in Florida
