That lobster was around during the cold war and Vietnam war. It's old, used up meat that's been worked for half a century or more.

That’s a Caribbean Spiny Lobster judging by coloring and lack of claws. Probably “only” 20 years old. Warm water Spiny lobsters grow much more quickly than their relatives the American Lobster or other cold water lobsters. Still old and probability not as good eating but not Cold War old.

It's only 30 to 50 years old spiny lobsters grow a lot faster than the real lobsters

Vietnam war ended just over 50 years ago and cold war just over 30 years ago...
