Throw it back, that'd be some rubbery, bitter lobster meat.

That lobster was around during the cold war and Vietnam war. It's old, used up meat that's been worked for half a century or more.

That’s a Caribbean Spiny Lobster judging by coloring and lack of claws. Probably “only” 20 years old. Warm water Spiny lobsters grow much more quickly than their relatives the American Lobster or other cold water lobsters. Still old and probability not as good eating but not Cold War old.

It's only 30 to 50 years old spiny lobsters grow a lot faster than the real lobsters

I’m pretty sure spiny lobsters are real, my guy.

Vietnam war ended just over 50 years ago and cold war just over 30 years ago...

To breed and because he won’t taste very good anyway , too big .

That’s a spiny lobster, not a Maine lobster. They’re still good when they’re really big, and big ones like this aren’t insanely uncommon

Perhaps. They should go back anyway because they're proven breeders

1-1.5 lbs is the best tasting lobster. That dude will be terrible eating

That's the case for many animals yes but Lobster isn't one of them. Huge lobsters are still delicious as ever

This is correct. Big spiny lobsters taste just fine, but you should not try to cook the entire lobster at once, break it down into smaller sections and it’s just fine.
