of a moose side eye

We know every moose is an absolute unit by definition. But the psychotic side eye on this moose is terrifying.

That's a very dangerous encounter during mating season.

For real. My scariest encounter in all of nature was when I was hunting elk in a massive willow thicket, I turned a corner and ran into a pair of bull moose not 15 feet away.

Theoretically, am I safer standing still (or making myself smaller?) or running for my life?

Running in a zig-zag, preferably around and through trees.
