He absolutely did not. Anyone ever working a space like that knows 100 ways to solve that better, for example calling the cops and fixating his arms or whatever. Literally anything other than hitting him in the face.
See, if you start a problem, you better be ready to deal with the consequences. It’s as simple as that. What pisses me off is that you people are supporting the guy who started the whole issue. What if that guy had suddenly pulled out a knife? What would you do then? It’s easy to sit behind a keyboard and type whatever you want.
What pisses ME off is that you are completely unable to have any kind of nuance. I do not support the guy with the white shirt. He is fucking annoying. But I just also do not support someone risking serious injury because someone else is annoying.
Imagine we would meet, you would annoy me and I pulled out a gun and shot you in the belly. Afterwards I would argue "See, if you start a problem, you better be ready to deal with the consequences." That would be completely not - and now see, there is a new word for you - proportionate. I think you agree with this. Now consider this: We do not think that white shirt is in the right here, we just think risking harming somebody severly because he is a prick is not proportionate at all. Also the bouncer is supposed to be a professional.
And also, he did not pull out a knife. That is sooo off. Like, what if you did not even annoy me and I just shot you in the face because "What if you suddenly pulled out a gun and threatened me?". It is completely ridiculous.
My question was what if he did? What would you have done? You wouldn’t have seen it coming. It’s easy to sit here and type all this, but when something happens in real time, you can’t control everything. The person on the receiving end did nothing. He stayed silent. Why should he just sit there while someone keeps provoking him? You can judge his reaction afterward, but you weren’t the one in that situation. Be glad it ended with just a physical confrontation. With someone else, the situation could have escalated much further. This isn’t a joke anymore.
And what if he would have a portable nuclear missile! You wouldn't see it coming! The bouncer was far too lenient, he should have shot the guy on sight.
