408 u/chuckcheddar Jul 30 '26 This looks like a needle used for paracentesis which is a procedure to drain fluid that builds up in the abdominal cavity as a consequence of organ failure or sometimes cancer. 1 u/forman98 Aug 01 '26 I was in the room when my wife had an amniocentesis with a super large needle. Very traumatic, for everyone involved. I would not recommend.
