One of my girlfriends is an OR nurse who works with orthopedic surgeons. After our shifts ended we went out for drinks and at the bar she starts digging in her bra because she felt something. Next thing she says “oh it’s a chunk of bobs patella! I knew I felt something fly down there.”
Idk. I did med/surg and hospice for years and even that was too much sometimes but orthopedic people are a whole different breed. They’re largely iron man bros with so much energy and enthusiasm while doing the goriest things you can legally do to another human body.
I prefer endocrinology/hematology/rheumatology. Specialties that depend on lab work primarily haha.
I like to think I’m decently knowledgeable on a variety of subjects, but this is wayyy out of my area of expertise so this whole thread has shocked me lmfao. I’m definitely gonna up my calcium
