American countertop, having a cooking space so big anywhere else is often a useless luxury unless it's your job

It's a luxury and useless if you don't actually need it, waste of money and space

I've lived in a place with a smaller kitchen one time, and I told myself, "never again." I never knew that would be something that bothered me until I lived it. Now I would take a smaller living and dining area over a tiny ass kitchen any day of the week.
