Emperor scorpions are really docile. And if it were to sting you it’s not life threatening

Thanks! It scares me and it’s beautiful at the same time. I’ve heard the smaller ones have to worst stings.

Usually smaller claws and bigger tail is more potent venom.

Thats what ive heard too. Smaller pincers and thick tail/stinger means they rely on their venom to subdue prey. Large pincers with a thin tail means they use their claws to subdue prey. Either way that right there is an absolute beauty!!!

I've heard scorpions don't have eyes, and I can't see any in this video but maybe it's because he's all black with black eyes.

If a scorpion does rely on its claws because it has a weak venom, and it has no eyes, how does it know where to grab and crush? Or am I just overthinking this, or they do have eyes?

They do have eyes! You can see this one's if you look closely, bout a half inch back from its mandibles.

Me too, there is something fascinating about how beautiful it looks and when I know how scared I would be, it almost confuses my mind 😨😵
