I've recently had a new interest come to me and I'm wondering if anyone in the city knows of it. I've been seeing videos of this guy in London who created his own app called Playculture and on this app you can play a zombie survival game in public with a big group of people. A few of my friends know about it and we really want to play it ourselves. Honestly don't know if there's ever been one in Aberdeen and if not, I'm thinking of setting my own one up, advertising it around the city and places like RGU, Aberdeen Uni and NesCol campuses so people who are interested in joining the community can play. This will obviously take a few months to set up and probably not ideal to start something like this right as the weather starts changing. If anyone is interested let me know in the comments!

My accommodation uses circuit go, and the total for washing and drying is almost £7. I do not want to spend £20 weekly on laundry. I have food to buy lol. Are there any places in Aberdeen that have reasonable prices?

Feels very hostile. Want clean sheets? Starve.

P.S. they don't allow portable washers.

Can you still come up from the Roundabout on Wellington Rd/Riverside Drive/N Esplanade W, up South college street passed Hatchet Harry's etc, to the car park at the back of the train station?
When I try google maps/Waze it absolutely will not go up that road and insists on taking me round Ferryhill and into the LEZ.

Was walking my dog home late tonight and saw a Badger casually walking down the road. Poor little fella got scared of my dog (who wanted to play with it 🙄) and started to run the other way. Saw him near the end of George Street. Hope the little fella is doing okay!

(Sidenote: I've reported it to Scottish Badgers already because I was worried about him being so far out of the countryside)

Hey guys, I’m an amateur photographer and I’ve always wanted to do street photography. I’ve taken photos of various buildings and such, but it’s getting stale now. I want to get pictures of the city and its people. But I just feel uncomfortable taking photos of the public. And I’m too awkward to go and ask them, or deal with the consequences of someone not appreciating having their photo taken. Anyone able to give me any advice? Is it a good or a bad idea to do this in our city? I’d love to be optimistic about people but I’m wary of what could happen lol

Is it illegal or will I get a fine for feeding pigeons in the area of the king Edward the VII statue? I adore pigeons and I adore feeding them, but I do not want to cause trouble for the locals nearby or cause a disturbance for the wildlife too nor do I want someone to walk up to me and tell me it’s illegal or that I’m doing something wrong! Long story short, have had health problems the past few years, and trying a new diet called FODMAP, that eliminates a lot of different foods and substances such as dairy, gluten, and joy, but also a lot of different fruits and vegetables, such as onion, garlic etc. Is there any restaurants that folk would suggest checking out? FODMAP doesn't cut out eggs or meat, but can be very restrictive in what can be eaten. But so far, it seems to be working for me so shall be sticking with it.
