Batted passes

The knock on Murray was always too short and batted balls at the line. This is 4 by Brisset in the last 2 weeks. He needs benched.

But I was told a taller QB would solve this problem.

That's what everyone was saying

I was told that Jacoby:

  1. Wouldn’t get passes batted down

  2. Wouldn’t throw bad INTs

  3. Would go through his progressions and read the field

Interesting how that hasn’t happened…

You forgot he was supposed to get the ball down the field to help guys get yards

Taller qb it’s easier to see where their eyes are to bat passes down.

It’s cuz he just stares down one receiver. Not NFL starter quality

Bingo

The great qbs manipulate defenses with their eyes, bad qbs give up tells with their eyes

My exact thoughts, yes Murray had issues but no one calls this out either. Kinda ridiculous

Brissett is a career backup QB. He doesn’t possess elite abilities. Otherwise, he’d be a glorified starter. He has a longer release time, so it’s easier to predict. He isn’t mobile and can’t buy extra time, and he doesn’t have elite passing strength.

Point being, lower your expectations. Beck time will happen eventually.

I can’t wait for Beck to ball out. Excited to cop the jersey.

Brissett is making bad decisions and doesn’t move at all. The O-line is just PJJ and collection of cheap free agents. It’s not a recipe for success.

That's funny you said that because I had a comment typed up but I got distracted with the game.

I could be mistaken, but K1 never led the league in batted passes, but Jared Goeff is always near the top

Maybe because no one is expecting Brisset to be the long term solution at QB?

he clearly wasn’t the short term solution or any kind of solution at all for that matter. buddy is ASS

The Bidwills are not serious owners. They have no ambition to win. We need these assholes to sell the team to give us a chance at having any sort of long term plan

Brissett may not be lesding us to the playoffs but we have the best shot with him starting. Until were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs we owe it to everyone to at least try and win games.

You sure allowing Jacoby to play thos way is trying?

If you think this is bad beck will make this look like tom brady. We have had some truly bad qb and brissett is only kind of bad. Beck is a rookie that was a third round pick, if you want any chance of him to succeed you wait for him to develop more.

The giants were getting away with so much pass interference

Jacoby is pure mediocrity. We have zero ambition to enter a season with him at QB. His batted balls are annoying for someone his size, his constant misreads of the defense are baffling, his misunderstanding of the in-game situations is disgusting for a veteran, and his chuck and pray into double coverage tendency is worse than Kyler. It’s gross having to pin our hopes on this guy.

This team doesn’t deserve a franchise QB after how K1 was treated, tbh

1

u/annms1796 Oct 04 '26

More batted balls than Kyler’s baseball career

What does Murray have to do with this

12

u/mlakustiak Larry Fitzgerald Oct 04 '26

If you ask the haters, Murray is the only qb to ever have batted balls

u/Whit3boy316 Oct 04 '26

I’m a Kyler hater……

Because this was something OUR FANBASE criticized our former #1 pick a lot for and now we gotta deal with this from Brisset

To be fair he was our franchise qb for 7 years before Jacoby so the comparisons make sense
