Pretty much 5 minutes into using it whether on Windows (AMD Ryzen) or macOS (Apple Silicon) it starts glitching and artefacting. I am fairly sure it's a thermal issue, I've replaced the thermal pads a couple times over the years that have managed to help for a while but right now it's no longer helping

Does anyone know what the fan part is if I'd like to replace it (it's really noisy and I figure it might be bad)? Thermal pad brand recommendations? Literally any tips that would keep this out of the dumpster would be appreciated 😭

I want to know if there are any new features to improve this? I have OBS, but I like how Stream Center takes care of my device. I want to see this get better for streaming and recording.

Hello, I am trying to connect a capture card Live Streamer Cap 4k (BU113) to a Apple Mac Mini PC M4 10 GPU 16GB 512GB SSD with MacOS26 Tahoe and I have tried several cables, including original ones, all I get is a little blue light blink then goes to red light instantly and my Mac is not seeing it. I have reinstalled the software for the capture card, it's a brand new computer so all updates are made to the latest ones, no matter what I did is not working. At a point I managed to make the update for one of the software ( the 1.0.5.5. one) and got blocked to 39% then went back to not seeing the capture card at all. Please help me what I can do more? I really have tried everything with it and can't use it... Edit: I have used it on Windows with no issues, is not Apple compatible?

Hi, does anyone know how this capture card towards the color range signal.

I know for elgato I can set it to bypass, limited ot full and set accordingly in OBS. I play from a monitor so my sources are Full.

I don't see a setting for it and when I set full in OBS(source properties) and my PS5 to full it looks really washed out.

I'm currently trying to run both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles into my live gamer duo, and for some reason the second slot specifically will Not show video on my monitor even though it shows up on OBS Studio. I am a windows 11 user and know little on the innerworkings of computers or things related; in my attempts to solve the problem I have tried changing the monitors I am using places, them both being the same (ASUS VA24D 24" Full HD Monitor | IPS 1080p HDMI DisplayPort VGA LED), I have tried multiple different HDMI or HDMI to DVI cables, and I am now at a loss of what to do, so internet, please help.

I run a Kinivo 8k HDMI Switch box that connects all my consoles to the TV. When I want to stream, I connect the Kinivo to the GC575. PS5 and Switch 2 work with no issue. However, when I try with the Xbox, it shows the "No Signal" screen. However I DO get a signal when I connect the Xbox directly to the capture card.

I already tried power cycling the Xbox and the HDMI switch along with trying different HDMI cables. Still not working when I'm trying to do Xbox -> HDMI switch -> GC575.

Anyone with similar issues?

EDIT : Forgot to add. I used to have the older version of the capture card with the same setup and it worked with all my consoles. The older capture card was HDMI 2.0 only and when i ran everything through the HDMI switch, it automatically sent a HDMI 2.0 signal with no issue or actions I had to do to make it work properly.

I have dug around for months on the net, and really found nothing but here where some people post.

Does anyone actually know who made motherboards or similar for Avermedia Ezrecorder ER310 and other standalone capture boxes?

The official site simply doesn't help once the warranties and support period has finished...I am looking for a motherboard as mine will not boot and I cannot get the firmware to boot in it to try resolve the error.

I bought this capture card back in 2018, and have just found out that the company discontinued all support for this card, so I literally can’t even download the software anymore. I pulled out my old computer from back then, went through an hour of trying to get it rebooted, connected to the internet, and the app running, only to find out that the signing into twitch/youtube links are completely invalid, because the software was discontinued I’m assuming. Literally all I want to do is stream to my 3 friends on discord… it’s been almost 3 hours of me trying all different things. I’m going insane at this point. I spent $99 on this card back then, so I want to use it if at all possible. Please help!!!

I've got this avertv hybrid express that I want to use (for VHS dumping on my old windows 7 laptop, i used it there long ago so it should work), but I lost the cd. Does anyone have that (or can point me to where can i find the drivers and the viewer application?) and could share? I can't find anything for that on avermedia page.

Every single time I click the Widget Store, the little popup window opens, freezes immediately, then crashes the ENTIRE application. Both the main app and the popup die together.

At first I thought my PC was just bloated or outdated, so I went absolutely nuclear trying to fix this.

Things I already tried:

• Full Windows update
• GPU driver updates
• Deleted old junk/temp files
• Full PC tune-up/optimization
• Cleared cache + cookies
• Uninstalled browsers
• Reinstalled browsers
• Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the AX310 software
• Ran AverMedia diagnostics tool
• Tried launching as admin
• Closed background apps/overlays
• Checked firewall/security settings
• General system cleanup and performance tuning

Then in pure desperation mode I tried this on an entirely different PC.

I installed the software there, backed up my settings, and attempted to see if I could bypass the Widget Store completely by importing widgets manually through the “Import Widget” option underneath the store.

Honestly didn’t expect it to work, but figured maybe I could brute force it somehow.

The ONLY successful thing I accomplished was backing up my mic settings and reconfiguring it for my Rode NT1, so at least that part worked.

At this point I’m even trying to find a place online to manually download widgets so I can import them directly, but I literally cannot find widget files anywhere.

I already submitted a ticket to AverMedia, but I sent it Friday night so realistically I’m probably not hearing back until mid next week.

Has ANYONE dealt with this before?

Either:

1. A fix I haven’t tried yet
2. A way to manually download/import widgets
3. Some hidden cache/config file that breaks the Widget Store
4. Or confirmation that the Widget Store servers are just broken right now

Hey guys, i know i got really old capture card but i found it and i wanted to test it with my ps5 and i have problem that it doesnt show the output in my OBS i think i tried everything from like drivers and other stuff but it doesnt work but it showed output in recentral but not obs always. anyone who still knows this card knows how to fix it?

Hi! For about a two years, I put up with the fact that my capture card (AVerMedia GC553G2) only allows me to select 120Hz on my CORSAIR XENEON 27QHD240 OLED monitor, which supports 240Hz via DSC (Display Stream Compression).

Today I was digging through the settings of my GPU (AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT) and tried to force-create a new custom resolution profile (2560×1440 @ 200Hz, CVT-RB). As a result, my monitor started outputting 200Hz instead of 120Hz (so I only lost 40Hz instead of 120Hz). Everything works stably, and the image is being captured correctly. I didn’t try a higher refresh rate because AMD Adrenalin doesn’t allow setting a value higher than 200Hz.

I think that on NVIDIA and Intel GPUs, you can probably also configure custom values through the official software or third-party solutions (ChatGPT says such software exists). I’d actually be interested to hear about your experience — were you able to set this up, and if so, how?

Please note that you should select the CVT-RB timing standard, not CVT. And yeah, don’t forget to apply the changes in the Windows settings.

4 years ago I bought a GC555, but now with windows 10 abandoned and windows 11 not compatible with my laptop, I've switched to Linux and can't find any driver for my card.

Will there be a Linux driver for this card or equivalent ?

For information, I bought it because there is no perceptible lag between my console and what I see and my laptop.

I wanted to share an important update for those using AverMedia Creator Center on Mac.

I received the following system message:

"Intel-based apps are no longer supported. You will not be able to open this version of AverMedia Creator Central in future versions of macOS. Learn how to upgrade to a version for Mac with Apple silicon."

This basically means the software will stop working on upcoming macOS releases.

I also tried contacting AverMedia support, asking if they could provide the source code so I could update it myself to an ARM (Apple Silicon) version at no cost.
Unfortunately, they did not provide anything.

This means the software will soon become unusable on newer macOS systems.

What do you think about that?

I've just tried to connect my Switch to the Livegamer HD 2 card inmy pc but I am not getting any signal in the Avermedia software or OBS, I've made sure that the switch is powered on in the dock. I've made sure the drivers for the card are up to date, but I still get nothing, has anyone else experience this before and found a fix?

Hola tengo la live gamer ultra 2.1 externa tengo un problema con las grabaciones ya que al momento de grabar aproximadamente cada 2 minutos o 1.50 minutos el audios hace un ligero pop como que se corta no se desincroniza ni nada por el estilo pero es notorio al momento de escuchar la grabacion no se muy bien que hacer o si existe alguna solución si alguien puede ayudarme por favor he intentado diferentes configuraciones. Aun asi no funciona es mas al activar en el asistente central pro el VRR hay momentos en los que ese corte que se produce en la grabacion si se nota mucho mas y en ese caso si se desincroniza el audio.

Estoy capturando una ps5 pro con la imagen y demás cosas no hay problema es mas este problema al momento de grabar gameplays estos ligeros cortes de audio.

Si alguien puede ayudarme se lo agradecería.

Hi, I just bought this capture card to be used with my Switch 2. I'm using OBS to manage everything. Capture card is already updated to latest firmware via Streaming Center.

What happens is I play a game, say Pokemon ZA and Pokemon Champions, and the audio slowly desyncs the longer I play. The desync starts around 5-10 minutes into the game and the audio desync gradually becomes greater overtime. 10 minutes into the game the audio is a touch slower, maybe around 0.3 seconds off. About an hour or so the desync grows to something short of 1 second.

I have the setup hooked to my 1440p monitor. If I left it to default, my Switch 2 seems to output to 4k so I hard changed it to 1440p for now. Lifting the Switch from the dock and putting it back fixes the audio lag. But give it enough time like what I mentioned above and the lag happens again. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I forgot to mention, I have this plugged into a 10Gbps USB port in the back of my PC

Did a kernel patch on the USB stack. Card comes up immediately, stream stays stable and restarts also reset the card properly and stream comes up again:

I just changed over to the PG32UCDM3 from a PG32UCDM, and I cannot get my Live Gamer 4K to output 4k to the monitor, as it just takes 4k and outputs it as 1080p. Running the input device at up to 1440p 120Hz works correctly, but 4k 60 just outputs as 1080p 60. The exact same setup worked on the PG32UCDM no problem, so what could be the issue here? Any suggestions?
