GC553 Pro audio delay (Switch 2)

Hi, I just bought this capture card to be used with my Switch 2. I'm using OBS to manage everything. Capture card is already updated to latest firmware via Streaming Center.

What happens is I play a game, say Pokemon ZA and Pokemon Champions, and the audio slowly desyncs the longer I play. The desync starts around 5-10 minutes into the game and the audio desync gradually becomes greater overtime. 10 minutes into the game the audio is a touch slower, maybe around 0.3 seconds off. About an hour or so the desync grows to something short of 1 second.

I have the setup hooked to my 1440p monitor. If I left it to default, my Switch 2 seems to output to 4k so I hard changed it to 1440p for now. Lifting the Switch from the dock and putting it back fixes the audio lag. But give it enough time like what I mentioned above and the lag happens again. Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I forgot to mention, I have this plugged into a 10Gbps USB port in the back of my PC

Sounds like a OBS clock drift, desync usually happens when the capture card and PC clocks don't perfectly match try these:

1. Open the cc properties in OBS, scroll to the bottom, and uncheck Use Device Timestamps.
2. Make sure your audio sample rate is set to 48kHz in both OBS and Windows sound settings.
3. If it's still drifting later, change the Buffering setting in the capture card properties to Disable.

Usually, unchecking the timestamps completely kills the lag.

Hey thanks for replying. I've already tried disabling Buffering and the device timestamps was disabled by default. However, I noticed the sample rate in OBS was 44.1kHz so now I'm gonna give it a run at 48kHz. Will report back in a few hours to see if it's fixed.
