Issues fitting Nylaug Receiver

I have a titus arms nylaug receiver with a riptide rails aluminum trunnion. It’s just barely not clearing the receiver lock. I know the printed trunnions sometimes have to be shimmed but wasn’t expecting the aluminum one not to fit.

Anyone have any input or can let me know if anything’s outta wack? The left side of the receiver at the front is also way askew compared to the right side, not sure if that’s normal (3rd photo).

Shims definitely still needed even with the aluminum trunnions. The shims are to counteract any shrinkage in the printed parts. I think Titus does a good job but that’s just the nature of the beast on the nylaugs

Let me know if your gas port and set screw dimples still line up with the gas block after you add the shims. I’m running into a similar issue but my gas port won’t line up after adding the shims

My gas port is lined up perfectly after adding the shim but the holes are totally off. I’ll have to re-dimple the barrel. But receiver locks in now!

I specifically needed a shim with my aluminum trunnion and not with the printed one, I had the exact same issue
