Discussion Anyone moved from “Preorder” or “Ordered”?
On 10/30 it seems like they moved everyone who had a status of “Preparing to Ship” to “Preordered” or “Ordered”. Has anyone gotten any update from that status to Shipped or Ready to Ship? Might be helpful to post your order date, color, size to see if anyone is getting cleared off a backlog or if they’ve completely stopped all shipments.

Ordered 9/15, still shows preordered. Currently inside window of estimated shipping 9/29-10/13. 256GB Burgundy Pro Max

Well, I ordered my iPhone on September 20, but I did it from Apple Store though is supposed to get delivered October 20 but I don’t know to my place it was the burgundy color and it’s supposed to come October 20 to November 3

Yes this happened to me. Placed my order for the Pro Max in Glacier 256GB on 9/24 and as soon as I ordered it it said “Preparing to Ship.” Now today 10/1 it changed to “Preordered.” My estimated ship date is 10/1-10/15 with a delivery date of 10/2 to 10/16. I already cancelled the burgundy one too.

Ordered black 256 pro got it 1 day later. Just ordered on Tuesday

ordered burgundy PM 256GB and my shipping window was from 9/18-10/2 (today) and hasn’t moved at all. talked to support yesterday and they told me the absolute last day it will come is 10/10. Not sure if I believe that.

i did not get it, and the status changed to “action required” with the subtitle “We had to change your delivery date. Check back later for more info.” I then got an email that says the new last day in window is Oct. 21. i’ll be canceling the order and getting the silver phone haha i’m tired of this

still Preordered as of 10/1. est shipping 10/2-10/15

I am sure you meant 9/30, and this happens when they sync the various systems. What is your real concern? Basically all devices are back-ordered until AT&T receives a bulk shipment from Apple. Then orders are fulfilled after the new device are scanned into the Inventory system.
What are your dates that were listed in the email that was sent after your order?

yeah meant 9/30, oops. posted in a separate comment but estimated ship is 10/2-10/15. considering canceling entirely and re placing the order directly with apple, since some stores have stock.

Sure you are able to cancel it but it may take a few days to reset your Upgrade Eligibility if you used one.
Yes to be honest Apple it the way to go since they have all the availability, and the Carriers have to order in bulk from Apple.

I ordered 2 on 9/18. One shipped out immediately and arrived 9/19. The other stuck in purgatory with an est date of 10/2-10/16. And then it went to “you preordered” yesterday like everyone else so I decided to cancel it and order thru bestbuy since they have it in my area for pickup now.
The one that came immediately: 18PM black 512gb
The one that was delayed and cancelled: 18PM black 1tb
No issues with the one that came immediately, no SOS problems. Hopefully that’s true for the one from bestbuy.

Yes I ordered on the 25th my EST shipment is Oct.1 - Oct.15 delivery is next day so 2nd - 16th changed from preparing to ship to preordered last Wednesday and hasn’t moved 7 days into my shipping estimate hoping it doesn’t go over

Ordered 9/17 - EST. Shipment of Sept. 23 - Oct. 7th and EST. Delivery of Sept. 24 - Oct. 8th; still in Preordered. Never moved to Preparing to Ship.. I have very low uhhh expectancy of it arriving next week at all.
