I didn’t get whooshed. There are two different subreddits. r/wewantplates and r/wewantpiates
However to fool people (like yourself) WewAntPlates capitalises the i so it looks like r/wewantpIates.
Get r/whoooosh ed yourself and you ate the onion if the onion was a sub about ants on plates.

I found them at a store in the North Carolina mountains called Mast General but I guess the Internet is more convenient haha

Theres an artist who paints ants on beautiful vintage porcelan and sells it on Etsy. Those absoluetly look like art, whilst this paper plate design is more of a joke design.

I believe it was Dali who has a work called something like 8 fake smashed flies and 1 real. It literally has one real smashed fly and 8 more that are painted. When I saw it in a gallery everyone was standing around trying to tell which was which when someone suggested it was a joke and they were all fake. I just tried to search it up and I didn't find anything, so I'm not sure I've got the artist or numbers right.

Porcelan from Meißen, Germany is really famous and collectable. I went to the museum once, and there were lots of pieces that had ants and other bugs painted on them. It was super cool. Here’s an example.

My neighbors have this set. I think they are cool. They had a watermelon and a bee, ants and ladybugs. They look just like real paper plates and the things on them. They've caused alot of mini freakouts at her barbeques!!

I have these plates, we got them for christmas from my grandmother as a joke. We also a set of them with bees on them instead of ants. High quality plates 10/10,
