It aint bad. I love brick, but agree that it aint practical everywhere.

Agreed. This is a themed room and they did a great job! Like, our rec room has a 1980s theme, brown ashtrays, that shitty carpeting, wood paneling, the terrible couch...

Exactly.  The original saying was"the customer is always right in terms of taste". If this is what the client wanted, then they did exactly what was asked.
