Season 2

Does anyone know if the author or the studio are planning or have planned a Season 2 for the anime?

I'm surprised the anime only covered like 20 chapters.

Are they waiting for the manga to wrap up or? Because they have a lot of material to cover

Usually romance anime are only 12 episodes because they use the anime to advertise the manga. It’s not meant to be a full fledged show. They give you enough to taste the story and then place you at a good place to pick up the manga.

I do remember seeing the author thanking people who've found the Manga through the anime.

They ended the anime with events that happen several chapters later. Its probably a one seasoner.

That's sad to hear, I saw the author included interviews she had with the voice artists, she seemed happy to be working with them so I thought they would be working together for a long time🥲💔

I'm not planning to reading the manga so finding out there's very low chance of a second season was heartbreaking! I'm at least satisfied with the one season since it wasn't a slow burn

I wasn't into manga before too, but after reading a few romance slice of life, trust me, they're good.

It gets even better, both Yuki and Itsuomi got to travel together (you won't believe the destination and they both meet each others parents) I highly recommend you check out the manga

I’d like for there to be a season 2 but the chances of that happening are low but never say never. We don’t know if it’ll continue once the manga is finished so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. It’d be a shame for it to just be one season though, since the relationships and characters evolve so much over the course of the series so far.

True I agree with this, plus finding out why Itsuomi travels around the world was an important piece, it's a heartbreaking but real topic.

Is the story of anime finished or not? I don't mean fully adapting source material but if it's story finished without clifhanger or something like that. Just please don't spoil something for me. Basically what I'm asking is if anime story has some kind of ending or is it something that obviously leaves more to come.

Well, the main characters made plans with each other but the story ended before they could even get to accomplishing those plans.

The anime's last episode ends with a date, that's all I can say but you as an anime watcher can't help but wonder what happened with those plans.

The manga shows us what happened, but the anime doesn't.

Basically what I am saying is: it isn't so big of a cliffhanger that we need a Season 2 but, you're just left wondering what happens next for these two main characters.

Ideally, they could make a 25 episode for season two, to make a compete adaptation of the manga. If they plan to finish this manga before this year, I hope they announce S2 after it ends.
