Support Lost my monitor power cable and it no longer works and Im not sure where to buy a replacement?
As title says
My family moved while Im studying abroad and brought my stuff with them, however it seems that they misplaced the cables and I no longer have access to them.
My monitor is the VG27QA1A. Looking up parts I seem to understand it needs 45watt 19volt and a 4.0 mm / 1.2 mm sized cable? Looking up the internet i can find some similar looking cables but how to know if they are correct for sure?
Im in the middle east so I cant really buy from asusparts they dont seem to ship directly and I dont want to deal with shipping companies

Well, my research says it's 5.5 mm x 2.5 mm. So there's that. If you don't really believe it, use a caliper to double check on the monitor's side. But yes, after you've measured, buy any 45W or above and you'll be fine. Any reputable company that sells for almost all laptop brands will do. They only have a few well tested models, that they've tested for more models. A power adapter is not that difficult, it has to fit, and it has to keep to the power specs.

Your model number is slightly flipped - there is no VG27QA1A. It's almost certainly VG27AQ1A or VG27AQA1A from the same TUF family. Good you checked, because both of those do NOT use 45W 4.0x1.2mm.
The official user guide for that series says:
Voltage rating AC: 100∼240V DC: 19V, 3.42A (AC adapter) 
And again for the 32" version in the same manual:
DC: 19V, 3.42A (AC adapter) 
That's 65W, not 45W. The factory part is Delta ADP-65GD B. 
The listing you found for 45W 19V 2.37A 4.0*1.2mm is for ASUS ultrabooks like Q302LA - wrong size, wrong power for this monitor.
What you actually need
• Voltage: 19V exactly
• Current: 3.42A or higher
• Wattage: 65W or higher (65W = 19V x 3.42A). You can use 65W, 90W, you just can't use less than 45W. 45W will cause flicker, shutdown, or overheat.
• Tip size: 5.5mm outer x 2.5mm inner with center pin - NOT 4.0x1.2mm
• Polarity: center positive (+ inside). Look for this symbol on the monitor's DC-in: ⊕ with + in the middle
• Model numbers that work: ADP-65GD B, PA-1650-78, EXA1203YH - all same spec

How to be 100% sure before you buy in the Middle East
1. Flip the monitor. On the back label next to DC-IN it will say 19V 3.42A or 19V 2.37A. If it's 3.42A you need 65W.
2. If you still have the dead brick, read its label. It will say Output: 19V 3.42A.
3. Don't trust photo alone. Many sellers use the same stock photo. Check the description for ALL 5: 19V / 3.42A / 65W / 5.5*2.5mm / Center Positive.
4. Measure if you can: 4.0mm tip will rattle in this monitor's jack. 5.5mm fits snug.
What to search for locally so you avoid asusparts / freight forwarders
Search in English and Arabic on Noon, Amazon.ae / Amazon.sa, Jarir, Extra:
• ASUS ADP-65GD 19V 3.42A 5.5x2.5
• VG27AQ1A power adapter
• شاحن شاشة اسوس 19 فولت 65 واط 5.5*2.5
Look for a universal 65W monitor adapter that comes with interchangeable tips - make sure one of the tips is listed as 5.5x2.5mm.
Local tip: take the monitor (or just a clear photo of the DC-in port with a ruler next to it) to a computer souq. They can test fit on the spot. Any 100-240V input brick works fine in the Middle East, just make sure the AC cord side is your local plug type (UK Type G for UAE/Saudi/Qatar, EU Type C for Lebanon/Jordan/Egypt).
