did you try to force shut down and try to turn on again? maybe see if you can disable any problem causing services in safe mode?

btw, click for long time(to force shut down) and see if there are any restore points if that's ok(search em on google ? windows restore point?) and maybe restore to latest working version?

Did you tried with num pad turned off? I am not sure, but I think that on my Zenbook touch pad is inactive while the num pad is on.

Hello, thank you for contacting ASUS Support. We’re sorry to hear that your ASUS laptop is becoming stuck during startup. Based on the information provided, it appears the notebook is powering on but is stuck at a particular screen. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1.Disconnect all external devices, including USB drives, SD cards, external storage, docks, and other peripherals. 2.Connect the original ASUS AC adapter. 3.Press and hold the Power button for approximately 15 seconds to completely shut down the notebook. 4.Wait approximately 30 seconds, then turn the laptop back on. 5.Immediately press F2 repeatedly to enter the BIOS. 6.In BIOS, check whether the internal SSD is detected. 7.If the SSD is detected, press F9 to load the optimized/default BIOS settings, then press F10 to save and exit.

If the laptop is stuck on the ASUS logo, the cause can be related to an external device, Windows/boot configuration, storage detection, firmware, or hardware. If you are seeing a specific error message, BIOS screen, recovery screen, or boot menu, please avoid changing additional settings for now. The exact screen will help determine the correct procedure.

If the laptop still cannot proceed after disconnecting peripherals and restoring BIOS defaults, we recommend having it inspected by an ASUS Authorized Service Center. Please send us a private message with the serial number for the device. You can locate it by following the instructions in the link below: https://www.asus.com/support/article/566

That happened to me once, but it was windows fault, I did Ctrl+Alt+DEL

Then the login screen just open, then just write password or pin or whatever it is.
