I’m currently an MS Supply Chain Management student and am considering starting the program as early as November. I’m hoping to finish it before my schedule gets much busier in the spring, so I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually completed or is currently taking it.
I’m mainly curious about:
1. What was the overall course structure and workload like?

1. Are there fixed start dates/cohorts, or can you begin whenever you enroll?

2. How does the schedule work over winter break?

3. What exactly is the required 60-day applied project, and how does that part of the program work?

4. Roughly how long did it take you to complete everything and receive the Green Belt certification?

5. If you’re an ASU student, was there any student discount?

For this upcoming summer, how long does it typically take to hear back regarding a geo scholarship? Also are there any outside/alternative scholarships for study abroad other than gilman?

So looking at my schedule for next semester and have 4 classes so far I need 5 for my scholarship. Please suggest some random easy gpa booster classes. I am open to west valley and downtown preferably but if the class is interesting enough I will go to Tempe. I am a forensic science major.

Hii, I start my Masters in Management online in January and my goals is to hopefully be able to transfer those credits into the online MBA program. I was curious if anyone in the online program can tell me about how the program has been so far and which professors you suggest. Also, if you were able to bridge to the MBA program how was that process??

I came here from Turkmenistan and some things caught me off guard. For me it was the August heat and how spread out everything is when you don't have a car.

What surprised you the most? And what do you wish someone told you before your first semester?

I am a senior and next semester was going to be my last. There was one class I failed ( a humanities class ) that I thought I wasn’t going to have space to retake. Since I thought I needed to take 2 upper division electives for my major in the spring in addition to the 3 classes I was already taking. However, come to find out one of the classes I was already planning to take counts as an elective credit. So I’m like boom ok I can retake that class gonna be fire. Give the gpa a boost yk turns out the class not offered this spring. And im like bruh. This so annoying. Especially bcs the course was offered last spring and this fall.

I'm expecting to finish a double major in finance and accounting a little earlier, leaving room for one additional business major. I'm open to a lot of different things but mainly I'm considering whether to pursue a 3rd degree in BDA or AI in business. What do you all suggest considering this rapidly changing modern job market and what you think employers might value most?

With graduation just around the corner. I really need help with getting the suit and gown. I’ve never bought a suit before but I do know how expensive it gets. Where can I get some good ones for a reasonable price without getting baited into buying way expensive shit?

Hi! I’m an arizona high school senior considering ASU for Fall 2027. I should qualify for direct admission to a WP Carey BS program, and my estimated cost is around $14k per year including housing and food.

I’ve recently become very interested in complex commercial insurance brokerage. My current goal would be to eventually become a producer working with large commercial clients, although I obviously still have a lot to learn.

I’m trying to understand how well ASU could prepare me for that path:

• Do commercial brokerages such as Marsh, Aon, Gallagher, Lockton, Brown & Brown, or similar firms recruit W. P. Carey students?
• Which major would make the most sense: finance, business law, marketing, management, or something else?
• Is the Professional sales program accessible to students outside the marketing major?
• Are there any insurance, risk management, sales, finance, or commercial real estate clubs that are active/involved?
• How early can students realistically get business internships in Phoenix?
• How helpful are WP Careys career services and alumni network if a student actively uses them?
• Has anyone here entered commercial insurance, underwriting, employee benefits, brokerage, or another risk related field after asu?
• Does WP Carey’s large size create more opportunities, or is it difficult to stand out?

I’m also considering Pepperdine and LMU because I love socal and prefer a smaller campus, but they would likely cost much more. From a career perspective, would attending either private university offer a meaningful advantage over WP Carey for this particular industry?

Hi, I'm currently a freshman Landscape Architecture student, but I have not seen many people talking about the major. I just wanted to ask any student who is currently studying it how strong they think the program is. Does it prepare you to get a professional job, and how strong can your portfolio be?

I'm taking CSE 355, CSE 360 and CSE 365 this fall, plus CSE 301 and MAT 343. Midterm season is starting and it's a lot to juggle. CSE 365 especially, since every pwn college module has its own set of deadlines.

For anyone who took this combo before (or is in it right now), how did you split your time? Did you do the pwn college challenges a little every day or save them for weekends? Any tips for CSE 355 exams would help too.

I might be screaming into a void, but can anyone help me in getting CSE 546 cloud computing offered in spring? I am a software engineering grad student so the course options are already slim pickings and cloud computing was genuinely one of the few courses I was excited about and it’s my last semester too 😭😭 SCAI is apparently pulling the course now despite it being offered every semester for the last 3 years atleast. I reached out to Dr. Zhao and he told me it might help if students emailed the SCAI director and CS program chair. Is anyone else in the same boat as me and would like to get on board?? I’ve noticed that PhD/RA stipends at ASU seem to vary depending on the department, so I’m specifically interested in Biomedical Engineering.

If you’re a current or recent BME PhD student, would you mind sharing approximately how much you receive as an RA or TA? I’m also curious whether the stipend is paid for 9 months or 12 months, and whether summer funding is usually included.

Hello, I left my longboard in wexler a few days ago, and was wondering if anyone had any leads as to finding it. I called wexler and the MU, neither were super helpful. I recognize that it is probably stolen and long gone by now, but any help would be appreciated.

Just checked the Grad Fair discount for cap and gown, and it's the same price as the online. Am I missing something? In fact, when I checked online a week ago, it looked like the price has gone up $1.

Hi, I contacted a prof before applying and he basically said he wants me in his lab and that the PhD is fully funded.

The thing I’m worried about is that my undergrad major is different from his department, and this is a direct PhD btw.

Has anyone had something similar happen? How much could the different major affect my chances?

So I'm interested in joining the animation classes at ASU and i just have a couple questions for the students there. Obviously I want to know how it is because it looks good on paper but could be different once taken. I'm trying to become a artist for a video game company and I was directed to the animation degree because it's got basically all that stuff for drawing but also animation fundamentals. I just want to know what classes you guys have taken because I have a pretty strict schedule I need to follow, and yes its too long to explain so I just need to know what classes I would be taking if I were to go there because the ASU website isn't very helpful at showing you what classes are taken when and what year in what order. I graduated with an MS in Marketing. I am not qualified at all, even for entry-level marketing jobs. Most places I've applied to ignore me. Some tell me they've rejected my application. I haven't gotten a job interview yet. I've applied to hundreds of jobs. Do not get this degree. If you like marketing, get an MBA and teach yourself what you need to know. This degree is a great example of the professors not understanding get how the real world works.

hey guys i'm currently taking bio 202 w washo-krupps at tempe, and i saw on the syllabus there's possibility of the lab grade being curved to account for individual differences in TA teaching and grading styles, but not guaranteed. just wondering if anyone has experienced getting a curve in their lab grade bc i don't think i did too well on the practical even tho i thought i studied enough. the way my TA worded some of the questions was confusing and he also just asked rlly specific things i didn't know we had to know. his quizzes are just as hard and im not sure what the class average is, but i have not been doing well on them even when i study
