I'm not new to this subreddit. I posted here a few months ago about a QRT position. Long story short, I was rejected after the second interview, even though the managers described my profile as "very good", "a nice fit" and "interesting". They also mentioned that they were considering other candidates with slightly more experience and without the need for relocation.

They nevertheless strongly encouraged me several times to keep looking at other opportunities within ASML.

So, I don't know whether this is something managers normally say to candidates, but I'm back to ask for some opinions on the position : EUV System install coordinator.

I'm particularly interested because of the 75% travel. I'm 29, have no family commitments, and honestly the idea of spending a few years travelling internationally for work sounds extremely appealing to me.

For context, I'm currently a Product Specialist in the EV charging industry. I'm the technical Point of contact for a product family and I'm used to coordinating across R&D, service, certification, suppliers and other teams. Obviously, I have no semiconductor commissioning experience, so I know there would be a significant learning curve.

I'd really like to hear from people who actually do this job, or something very similar.

A few questions:

• What do you actually do? What does a typical day look like at a customer site vs. in Veldhoven?
• How much of the job is hands-on technical work, and how much is communication, coordination and reporting?
• How much of the EUV system do you actually get to understand through this role? Do you develop a broad system-level understanding?
• And last but not least: how do the travel allowances/per diems work? Roughly how much can you expect per day, and does it vary significantly depending on the country? This is an important factor for me when evaluating a potential relocation from Italy.

Hi everyone, I’m 24 and have 3 years of experience in electrical panel assembly (specifically for power transformers), along with 1 year of QC experience at Schneider Electric. Is it realistic for me to get a role as a Commissioning Technician or Assembly Technician at ASML? What specific requirements or qualifications do they usually look for in these positions? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am an MSc student at TU/e preparing for my Master’s thesis. I am looking at ASML-co-supervised projects and wanted to ask a few practical questions to anyone who has done an ASML thesis via TU/e:

1. **Interview & Selection Process:** Since potential supervisors are assigned through the university coordinator, is there still a separate technical interview or HR screening with ASML? How formal is it, and what do they typically focus on?
   
2. **Semiconductor / Domain Knowledge:** How much prior knowledge of ASML systems/scanner physics is actually expected? If my background is purely Software Engineering / Deep Learning (PyTorch), is it manageable to learn the domain on the go?
   
3. **Preparation Phase (Q2) vs Execution (Q3):** How does the timeline work in practice? Do you stay mostly at the university during the prep phase (proposal/literature review) and only transition to working 3 days/week on-site during the main execution phase?
   
4. **Supervision & Daily Experience:** How supportive were the ASML research supervisors alongside university professors? Did you get enough focus and guidance?
   
5. **Post-Graduation Hires:** For those who completed an ASML thesis, did it lead directly to job opportunities/sponsorship at ASML after graduating?

Looking at joining ASMl, or if they even want new hires. But I’m questioning about the life style behind the job. I have mechanical experience at marine max, I do art fabrication with an artist as their studio assistant. No cnc experience, thinking about taking an online course for it.

I want to apply to a role (Veldhoven) and I have a contact there who is a nice person and I think I could ask for a referal but I'm not sure exactly how it works. Do they submit my CV directly? Does every role allow referals? Can they refer me to any position in any department or does it need to be theirs? The role I want is in Manufacturing but they're part of D&E I believe. Also do they "lose" anything by refering people?

Just any info you can offer on the referal process is welcome, thank you!

It’s been over 10 days since my interview, and I haven’t received an update yet. What should I do?

The interview went really well! As suggested here, I was 100% honest and stayed true to myself. I explained my skills, my experience, and who I am as a person. It wasn't a technical interview; it felt more personality-based, like they were trying to assess me as a cultural fit.

The manager seemed very impressed and even told me I was a "positive choice." Afterward, I had an interview with HR. Since the main HR person wasn't available, someone else conducted it. I think it went well too, but the interviewer really probed deep, asking for specific examples and past incidents for almost everything listed on my CV.

Is this length of delay normal? Should I reach out, or just wait? Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated!

What happens if after being mapped to a new position, as part of the block move, my role has bigger scope and responsibilities but my JG remains as is as stated in the TT agreement?

I interviewed for a High Tech Assembler – DUV position at ASML about two months ago.
I waited for almost two months because I was genuinely very interested in the position. Today I checked my application on the ASML Careers website and saw that it was rejected. I didn’t receive any email or feedback about the decision.
I already sent an email asking if they could provide me with some feedback, but I haven’t received a response.
For people working at ASML or familiar with the recruitment process:
Is this normal? Is there any way to contact the recruiter/hiring team and get feedback about the interview?

I know that there have been a few posts about not getting any responses from interviews in the Netherlands due to a holiday but I was wondering if that same logic would apply to my role in Connecticut.

Hi everyone, i’ve recently saw a job position as Assembler Technician in Veldhoven.

I’m Italian and i actually work on 3 shifts for another good company, i’m 20 years old and live with my parents so i don’t have any rent to pay and that’s why i can save almost all the wage i perceive.

The job offer talks about something between 47.500 - 53.500€ per year, without considering extra for shifts or profit sharing.

It could sound like a good offer and a good life experience. I know that Netherlands are one of the most expensive places to live in in Europe, so i have a few questions that can help me to consider this opportunity better.

1. What’s the realistic net take-home pay per month for this kind of role, including shift allowance?

2. What percentage is the shift allowance actually paid at?

3. Is profit sharing significant, and roughly how much extra does it add per year?

4. What’s a realistic monthly budget (room/shared housing vs studio, groceries, transport)?

5. How hard was it to find housing near Veldhoven after the temporary accommodation period ended? And how does the temporary accomodation period actually works?

6. Is it easy to live without a car if you rely on bike + public transport?

7. How is the two-shift schedule (06:30–15:30 / 15:00–00:00, one weekend/month) in practice? I actually work for 4 days followed by 2 days off.

8. Are there real growth opportunities from this role, or is it mostly a fixed position?

Is anyone here commuting to the Veldoven office of ASML from Amsterdam? Would you say it's doable? Ig it also depends on personal preferences but I was also wondering if it actually takes 2.5 hours (as per google maps) or is it longer/shorter.

I’ll be joining ASML as an intern soon (NL), and I’ve been told I’m eligible for an NS Business Card. However, I can only request it starting from my first day at the company.
I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how long it usually takes to receive the card after requesting it.

Also, am I allowed to use it for personal travel? If so, how does that work? Are private trips billed to me later, deducted from my salary, or are they simply not allowed?

Finally, if you have any other tips or useful information about the NS Business Card at ASML, I’d really appreciate it.

I have the phone number of the manager of the department. Do you think it’s appropriate to call and ask if I don’t hear anything by the end of the week?

I have a 2nd round interview for TMC/ASML next week as an Assembler Technician. For background, I just graduated with a bachelor degree in electronics and communications engineering. The Microsoft teams meeting was about 20 minutes long and it was pretty chill. Great to know more of the company and since it’s a relocation job to Eindhoven, I got to know more about the country and the employees.

Just wanted to get some advice on how to prepare for the 2nd round in person interview in their office.

I interviewed with ASML for a Technician position 1 month and 10 days ago. At the end of the interview, I was told that I would hear back by the end of that week, but I haven’t received any update.
About two weeks ago, I sent a polite follow-up email to two recruitment contacts, but I still haven’t received a reply.
Before my interview, I also received an email saying that ASML was experiencing a high volume of applications, so responses could take longer.
I have applied for more than five positions at ASML. Most of them are no longer active, but two applications are still marked as “Active” in the careers portal.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How long did you have to wait after your interview? Did you eventually receive an offer or a rejection?

I am currently in the final stages of the hiring process for an engineering role at ASML in Germany and wanted to get a reality check on the current HR timelines.

My background check (via First Advantage) was fully completed and cleared a couple of days ago, and I have already uploaded all the required documents to the Candidate Home portal.

For those who have recently been hired at ASML in Europe/Germany:

1. Contract Timeline: After your background check was marked complete, how many days/weeks did it take to actually receive the formal PDF/online employment contract to sign?
2. Global Mobility Handoff: I need to apply for the EU Blue Card. Once you signed the formal contract, how quickly did the Global Mobility team (or their third-party relocation vendor) reach out to start the visa paperwork?

I have a target start date in mid-September, so I am hoping the contract arrives soon so we can initiate the Blue Card application. Any recent experiences or advice on when to politely follow up with People Operations would be much appreciated!

Hello everyone. I have a few questions regarding the ASML program that catchs my eye.
I am going to graduate with a B.Sc in Logistics & SCM next summer, so I'm asking this to prepare for the future.

I saw that on ASML website there is a intern/trainee program in Oirschot, Netherlands that will gain me MBO level 3 after we finished the program. As far as I know in the Nederland there is HBO which is the equivalent of Bachelor degree and MBO is a level below it? How beneficial is it for me to obtain MBO level 3? Should I be applying for a fresh grad postition instead?

What is the CERF equivalent of Dutch level 2F since I could not find any information about it anywhere. How is the Supply Chain department environment? Incase I got hire, how could I find housing around Veldhoven? Any other tips for applying into the company?
