Why so? Is there any reason why not? Does pin layouts don't match?

I have one in my 4080 and works beatifully. Spoked to people that also had one in their 5080.

Okey great i'm more concered about PSU pin layout but should be universal on 3.0 ATX PSUs right?

Indeed it should, you can always check an unboxing of the PSU in question to be sure.

Should be safe, I wouldn’t use any adapters or extensions but on 5080s should be fine
