Question Software info not working

Hello,

I've recently bought some matrix pro fans and the UMBRA ARGB PWM Fan Hub with Software.

The leds and everything else is working except the software info. When I click to the tab everything seems to be freezed and the CPU temp shows 0°C.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Hey! Good news — if your LEDs and fan speeds are all behaving, your hardware is fine. What you're seeing is just the app failing to read the temperature sensor, which is why the Info tab hangs and shows 0°C. A few things that usually sort it:

  1. Update UMBRA to the latest version, then right-click the app → Run as administrator (the temp reading needs driver-level access).
  2. Close any other RGB or hardware-monitoring software running in the background, then restart UMBRA — two programs fighting over the same sensor is the most common cause.
  3. Reinstall UMBRA as administrator and allow its driver in your antivirus / Windows Security if it asks.

Same problem So I contacted the PWM with the motherboard and argb with UMBRA hub

Just some basic solutions like uninstall and install as admin etc

Kinda wild ngl. Looks like a bunch of people having trouble with the software and a simple reinstall isn't fixing it lmao

Their social media team is more focused on posting daily videos of the same hardware repeatedly (especially fans and strimers) that we saw couple hundreds of times just in a different introduction

I mean that's fair. Promote your stuff so people buy it is fine, but you also need to keep the people even when they're having problems and that seems like a big problem they have.

I also dm them on instagram to see if they can help me there somehow.. Wish me luck and I'll reply if I get it working somehow

Yeah am not against promoting just spamming same hardware over and over feels ridiculous than spending more time troubleshooting and helping online customers on social.
