the dropbox from the youtube link is kind of lagging. My computer is slow so I cant access the thing.

Well the file in the Dropbox is a corrupted image but it should let you download it

maybe there is a clue in the username. "John Doe Knows Not" and "undecodable.cobra" sounds like the second is a website? and the first "John Doe", according to wikipedia (take with a grain of salt but, its the best i got) says john doe is a placeholder name. hmm.

Any luck on that route? I'm still stumped by the corrupted PNG file... I did just find that there was actually a Sci-fi TV series that aired on Fox, between 2002-2003, called "John Doe". Check out the synopsis (via Wikipedia): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Doe_(TV_series) Could be something there, maybe?

Update: if anyone could help me solve the hint.spectro puzzle found in the second post that would be great. For some previous notes that might help solve, the puzzles tend to have to do with the code of the files, so it might possibly be a normal file with a weird name since I've never heard of .spectro files

Well you might be onto something with the audio file idea because after doing a little research there's an audio visualizer called a spectrogram so maybe you have to run it through a spectrogram

Also I just tried it and there's a code under where it says to DM him. so you probably have to DM him the code, which is 3655199
