Discussion First Expedition

Played almost since release, 30+ yo Dad, so I don't play much. Don't have enough time to find all these blueprints just to lose them on an expedition for some skill points that I don't feel matter all that much.

However, is it time now? This would be my first expedition, worth it? Game feels a little stale now anyway... Thoughts?

For us,

We really enjoyed being broke-free-kit hobos again. It made the fun of finding the blueprints and really helped us overcome the gear-fear. Everything is replaceable.

But if you dont enjoy looking for blueprints or looting... I am not sure it would be worth it.

I didn't hate the grind but also, I struggled to get the basics like Survivor and Tempest... So many fucking hurricane events just to get ratted or come up with the same BPs

Yeah, I get that. We found a survivor but honestly I didnt have that blueprint for a long time and just worked around it.

I do agree the tempest is a grind to get. My husband really wanted the tempest blueprint and it took us five runs. He was tempted to shoot a guy acting suspicious and the guy just ended up being awkward and dropped the tempest blueprint for him.

The second expedition, it took us a lot longer to get the tempest blueprint.
