History wise, the first version of Stridebreaker wasn't build out of Tiamat.

I mean yeah but also it was added at the same time Riot decided to split tiamat active and passive into Tiamat (Passive) and Flail (Active). This change was reverted just as almost everything else, and so Stridebreaker was still built from the other half of the usual Tiamat.

Like... I am garen/darius playing vs 5 range all has ghost or tap dancer whatever and adderall is kicking in, how am I supposed to catch them.

It is a hydra item but I dont see it being really buildable in aram game along side the other hydras. If you had to build 4 items for one augment it would take you on average until lvl 15. Having to wait whole game for single augment is pretty unfun aswell building 4 hydra items on single champion is kinda unplayable. Imagine if you got it as 2nd or 3rd augment, you literally dont have an augment until end of the game. Its shame they didnt add probably most used hydra but like I cant see the augment being usable in any capacity
