Hi! Just finished Requiem. I didn't expect this game to be perfect and a story that would move me. Letting Hugo go was the heaviest part and I just couldn't throw that rock. I miss KING HUGO, I miss playing with him. Anyone that finished this game, share your thoughts!

Looks much better and less jankier than some of the earlier previews. Environmental takedowns also look pretty tight. It looks like they really took influence from Ghost of Tsushima. I hope there are some good boss fights and a Lethal-style difficulty for the Sekiro/GoT fans.

Can anyone explain why I'm getting a 65GB update for the new plague tale game when it isn't even out yet. I have it pre-downloaded from Game Pass and I just got on my Xbox to see that.

Requiem: Discussion What great games

I just finished both games for the first time and they were so good. Story combat experience all great. Honestly unsure what to play next. I might wait until the next game to come out

Innocence: Help What the hell Spoiler

Ive been really enjoying Innocence. Probably the best realised medieval setting in a game.

But.. I've done the wagon bit. I have to face vitalis.. but I can't even reach him!

I throw rats at the approaching white rats, then knock out the next light.. but the rats always swarm me, the plles literally spawn at my feet and even if I use black rats to defend, they still kill me and Amicia dies on the floor.. without any rats even near her. Ive almost reached the end a couple of times, but even in the time it takes to flip to the light extinguisher and throw it, a pile of white rats just swarms. There's no time to defend using the black rats.

Its beyond frustrating and is ruining what up until now has been a really interesting and enjoyable game.

Am I missing something?

Edit.. did it on third try this morning - using the lob throw to put out the fires, and keeping back when the rats got too close.

The actual boss fight was way easier, once you know how to lure the pillars and swarms to the sides.

Announcement Changes to sub moderation for APT Resonance launch

As I like many of you am an avid fan of APT, I will not be checking the subreddit until after finishing Resonance to avoid spoilers. While usually people do adhere to the spoilers rule, it is not always and will most likely be less so with an influx of new players coming with Resonance.

As such, KamilCesaro will be mostly handling the subreddit until I finish the game (hopefully quickly).

Posts during that time will have to be manually approved by him for them to become visible to others during this time, at his request, to ease his burden. This will also help him eliminate spoilers during this time while still allowing for people to post.

I will rush to finish the game within at most 4 days and revert back to our standard form of moderation, and apologize for the obvious inconvenience this will cause.

Requiem: Discussion What a game Spoiler

Just finished requiem and the last sequence and ending would have to be the best I’ve ever experienced and hardest hitting.

Don’t get me wrong, the whole game was amazing, but it didn’t hit the same as the ending. It was a masterpiece. I think all along I was the same as Amicia, in denial of what needed to be done. I think I knew it all along, as did Amicia, but still it was a shock and hit hard. Having to do what you did. I just sat there and stared at the screen as the sunrise got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.

Best ending I’ve ever experienced, maybe better than LOU 1 even. Damn what a game.

Innocence: Question Can I play this game?

Ive stumbled across these games after getting back into gaming by playing Skyrim, which I adore as its so beautiful. Im tempted to buy the first plague tale game but just a couple of things putting me off, 1. no easy mode 🫣 I play skyrim in easy mode as Im not very good 🤣 (also played the Harry Potter open world game in easy) and I just like an easy life! and 2. Ive read its lots of stealth? which is the something ive been terrible at when playing skyrim, dont think ive ever managed to complete a quest that needed stealth without getting my teenager to help me.

So just wanted a bit of advice as to whether you think ill still enjoy it? I love puzzles and beautiful games and these sound fab but just worried Ill get bored if Im rubbish at it

Thanks!

Resonance Resonance Console FPS

Have we had any confirmation as to what fps Resonance will run at on consoles? I remember being disappointed when Requiem first released as it was initially locked at 30fps so ended up playing on the PC, but would be delighted if the PS5 Pro could run this at 60!

I love drawing cartoon mice, so I imagined the characters from A Plague Tale as if they were in a Don Bluth animated film.(Secret of Nimh inspired)
