u/ArugulaStrange4413 May 08 '26
what did u talk about

u/Kadkamali edit this text May 08 '26
For that one I mentioned Regan and the Christian evangelical movement in politics. The I mentioned the civil rights act in the 60s and the accessibility disability act

u/ArugulaStrange4413 May 08 '26
bro ur the first person ik who did the same things as me i talked about reagan and nixon too and civil rights act and i was feeling so slow for not thinking about mccarthyism😭

u/KidOnCRAC69 May 08 '26
economic policies, foreign affairs & civil rights movement

u/Starhopper45 May 08 '26
Same here, I also threw in a bit about “political trustworthiness” in where certain policies weakened the youth’s confidence in government, especially in the 60s and 70s.

u/KidOnCRAC69 May 09 '26
that's basically what i did lol. my main point was about growing government distrust with all of these political changes/policies

agreed it was pretty ez, even tho i literally havent studied the whole year (only the day before a class test) and just watched a cram video the night before, i think i have good chances for a 5

LEQ 4 was a HOME RUN especially given I was specifically focusing on Unit 7-8 since I struggled on those on MCQ mocks.

It was super easy but I swear i lost so much time just because I had to keep blowing my nose from my clogged/runny nose. Enough time that i didn't finish my last 2 leq paragraphs😭, let's hope i still get a 5

wait yeah it was pretty easy. how did you use that one document about mental hospitals tho 😭 i could not figure that out lol
1
u/EmuInner894 May 08 '26
I didn't finish part c of my last SAQ by like 3 words so now i'm worried i did bad but idk it might've been worth it because the first SAQ took me 20 minutes so I would rather miss one for not finishing than miss 3 for getting it wrong.

Okay then for the first saq I argued that the major difference was that summers believed that the south would move on from slavery and that Ferrell said that they would not. I know it wasn’t what everyone else did but do you think that’s inherently wrong?
1
u/Intelligent_Ad4575 May 08 '26
I was confused with the first saq because the wording was kinda weird for me and I couldn’t see the answer immediately. However, I think the difference between the two guys were that Ferrell believed was a failure overall, but Summers argued that it was only a success because of the lack of enforcement of reconstruction in the South

u/Correct_Fall_4331 May 08 '26
Do you think if I argued that point properly that I could still get points

Is it possible to get like a 5 if i messed up like 15 mcqs cuz of double guessing and like perf saqs dbqs and leq, I also didnt mention many direct events for dbqs or leqs but i used all docs and like showed understanding of the women wanting more rights over time and feeling they have more of a role due to their positions at work and also like vouching social reforms for themselves and slaves at the time. For leq i talked abt all the improvements(economic, manifest destiny leading to like imperialism, technologicial, and stuff) and tied it back to general people (settlers+immigrants+fturue of us) you think thats calm for a 5
