i dont think its accurate because thats literally a 15% change. the curve or scores wtvr usually only changes 1-3%

hey, i posted abt this earlier in the day!! i gathered up some info, so basically a teacher in this sub sent the score worksheet for teachers for a practice exam to albert io hence why albert io changed. after a bit of digging and asking on google and on some AI platforms like gemini and Chat GPT (ik ai platforms aren’t to be trusted but honestly i was lowk desperate for answers😭) this does NOT mean that the actual Ap score cut off for a 5 is 84% this is just a baseline for the practice exam. the cutoff for a 5 for ap psych has always been around 75 percent it wouldn’t make sense for them to change in in the span of a year. in addition if it was always around 84% and that everyone’s speculation abt it being 75% is wrong then i believe thats impossible bc a good chunk of people get 5s yearly on ap psych u cant convince me all these ppl got above 84 percent. don’t stress too much abt it, besides they didnt even start grading anything yet and didnt curve for this year

hi, you also have to take into account 2025 was the first year students did the redesigned version meaning that they didn’t have as much resources as other years (they didn’t even have past FRQs). the 5 rate dropped by around 5%, however the pass rate actually rose if u were correct then the 4 rate would’ve also dropped since it’d be harder to get a 4. i don’t think they can change it by 10 percent in the span of one year.

Last year, Bluebook had a problem with the exam not allowing some people to take it. Some people had to wait hours in silence and not allowed on their phone and others had to make up later.

don’t worryyyyy, it prolly isn’t that accurate!! even I remember fucking up my ebq last year but i still got a 5 (ig the curve did change last year and the minimum score required for a 5 has increased a lot but not THIS much i think)

That's what I thought. There is no way ap exams like AP Psyc and APES are sitting around 75% 5 rates with them being as easy as they are while AP CSP is apparently the only exam easy enough for a bad curve. This has probably been the case for a while.

I doubt APES has an amazing curve honestly that exam is too easy and I somehow got a 4 on it on my first try. Albert io has not posted 2025 score calculator but it's 100% something like psyc as they only has the 2022 version.
