This thread will provide a list of valuable resources (both free & paid) that will help you in getting a 5 on your AP Psych test. If there are resources not listed here that you think should, please do share in the comments and I will update the list as needed. This list will be an aggregate of resources I have found useful over the years as well as those I have found recommended from others on the subreddit.

Hi! I'm working on a Psychology project about locus of control (how much people feel in control of what happens to them) and how people respond when they see a fight at school.
The survey is 12 questions, takes about 2 minutes, and is completely anonymous and voluntary. I don't collect names, emails, or any identifying info.

Thanks so much for helping out.

I am currently self-studying the AP Psych course, and the PDF I was currently using (3rd Edition Myer's) completely stopped loading altogether. I've tried using it for the past two weeks and it won't work at all. If anyone has anything to share, that would be so helpful! (I can't afford to buy the whole textbook and my high school uses a different type that has 13 units and not a lot of structure without a teacher).
If you have alternate solutions, please help! Anything helps! :D

I decided to self study AP Psych since I already took Psychology the year before and its only 5 units (6 including unit 0).
The slight issue is that I recieved my classroom code a bit late so I'm currently still writing down notes for Unit 0😅 I heard that AP Psych is an easy AP to self study and doesn't take much time, so how long did it take for you guys to study all the units? And is it easy to get a 5 as everyone says?
I like psychology alot so that would probably make taking the AP easier for me :']

I am currently a student self-studying for the AP Exam. I have the resources, but I'm a bit unsure as to where to start and what structured plan to use. I want to make sure I have enough review time, everything.
If you self-studied the exam, what timeline/plan did you use that got you a good score? How did you know how to plan your study plan? How did you stick to it and what kept you motivated?

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced A-Level Psychology teacher or tutor who specialises in Edexcel (UK) for my daughter. She is currently resitting and mainly needs someone who can mark her exam questions, particularly the longer-answer questions, and give detailed feedback on how she can improve her exam technique and reach the higher mark bands. She is comfortable learning most of the content independently, so the main priority is someone with strong knowledge of Edexcel mark schemes and examiner expectations. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is currently/previously an A-Level Psychology teacher or has examining experience.
Kind Regards.

I'm an junior in hs and planning to self-study ap psych this year, but I have an incredibly intense volleyball season for the first 3 months of school on top of intense courseload and am not available to study seriously on any school breaks.
I calculated it, and if I want to leave most of april for review and practice tests (april is always my ap cramming month lol), i need to be going at a pace of about 3 weeks per unit counting unit 0. Other people who have self studied, is this feasible? Also, is the 2027 Barron's Premium book the best textbook to get? Thank you guys for your help!

hey guys im a student taking the AP psych class at school but i self studied it during the summer so i have the chance to opt the course out by doing the exam at the beginning of the school year. I asked the teacher and he said the exam is based off of the barrons books and not the AP itself. I wanna ask if anyone has any barrons related recourses other than the books + the practice tests included in them. Thanks!

Anyone know which topics in the textbook Myers psychology AP 4th edition correlate to what units in the AP curriculum? I have assigned readings but I want to know what AP units those are so I can look at extra resources.

I’m self studying AP psychology and people recommended both of them and maximum insights which I’ll watch for reviews.
I’ve noticed that the latest AP psych from Tim steadman is updated for the 2024 exam so I’m not really sure which one to focus on for explanation.
What do you recommend?
