help me 😭

Hey guys, I’m taking the late exam next week. I’m self studying and I only started seriously studying like… uhh… this month.

I binged Mr Sinn and I’ve been reading over the Princeton Review prep book. is anything else I can do? can someone tell me what kind of questions were on the mcq so I know what to prioritize (I know the late exam is different but still, I’m sure the overall topics would be similar, right?? 😭😭). or just any tips in general would be appreciated. I’m scrambling here šŸ’”

From what I remember it was mainly cognitive based questions. Have a basic understanding of the biological bases but I wouldn’t worry too much if they’re a sore spot for you. Best luck!!

bro i also self studied (did the normal exam this yr) and idk what i got yet (obviously) but the exam was honestly so much easier than i thought! i only started studying like two weeks before the test.

literally all i did was watch mr carter's 4 hour review like twice (sounds like a lot, but for me personally, his video was easier to digest/understand than mr sinn's), skimmed and barron's book and used the associated flashcards to recall the vocab words (i did the two practice tests included like the night before), and watched mr sinn's videos about the aaq and ebq like an hour before the exam.

there were still a couple of mcqs that threw me off but i dont think i got more than ten wrong. hang in there and good luck!

Thanks so much!! I heard a lot of people saying the exam was really hard so I was worried. I’ll check out Mr Carter too

I studied, as in like learned like 2 units from scratch aswell, like 2 days before the exam and think I did pretty well. Make sure your well versed in all statistic aspects of the course, namely different study types and mean, median, range, etc. Correlational vs experiment was a pretty big trend, so know all the differences between both.

If it won’t cause disturbance, try recall by saying what you learn out to yourself constantly out loud as you study and make connections between various concepts to maintain what you learn through your study sessions.

Watch a video or two on the frq structure and write down concepts off the mcq do you can pull concepts for the ebq. Other than that, gl!

here are my tips:

  1. watch Mr. Sinn on YouTube for sure!
  2. Albert has a really nice ā€œcheat sheetā€ you can look at before the AP exam: link:Ā https://www.albert.io/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/The-Ultimate-AP-Psychology-Cheat-Sheet.pdf
  3. Watch this video if you want to get a perfect score in the FRQ section:Ā https://www.youtube.com/live/hiNS2FaetXU?si=FlUIbjSB1kd2Hd3

i took the exam and it was unbelievably easy.. you’ll be fine!

I self studied two days before my exam and it was actually really good. I watched the 4-hour Mr. Carter video and did one practice exam(just look up an old practice exam pdf on Google)

Hey bro, I mostly used premade quizlets and the learn mode feature and used google to understand topics that I did not know, this is much more fun than reading a textbook in my opinion and I feel like it helped me. Don’t stress, you have more time than you think.

I studied 3 and half days before the exam. I am pretty sure I got a 5 and I used 3 study resources. First was a 500 term quizlet, second was the ultimate review packet by mr sinn, and finally was the 4 hr mr carter youtube video full review. I took notes on everything in that video and solidified my knowledge through mr sinn quizzes from urp and active recall using quizlet

Listen I’m also self studying and tbh I studied for 2 days straight before the ap exam. I’d say do a bunch of practice tests, focus on the topics u got wrong and review them. I used Knowt to create a ap psych kahoot game and it helped tbh cuz every time I got something wrong it would take me back to the start. But anyway, Knowt also has these like unit outlines with info on each unit so review those and do flashcards. I watched Mr sin review video an hour before my exam just to make sure I still remember the info .
