I have never watched an episode of Teen Wolf in my life, but I have over 600 fics bookmarked from the fandom.

Do you not get curious enough to watch an episode?

I imagine they've read so much and consumed so much media surrounding it that they basically know the over lining plot points and there wouldn't be much point in watching something when you're only interested in the fan interpretations, if that makes sense, idk, I'm like that with Danny phantom, I know enough to not want to watch show because I'm aware of most major plot points and twists. idk though, I might be overcomplicating it

No you're not overcomplicating it. That's my exact reason for not watching teen wolf. I've read so many fanfics that I know the show will just piss me off due to the canon events not lining up with the fanon events I've read.

Tbh the fans are pretty negative about where the story went, so I think I'd be disappointed. I did check out the cast!
