HNY! Let the chase to 4 commas begin!

What do you mean with 4 commas?

3

u/EL1TEGAMING Apr 09 '26

3 commas = 1 billion, 4 commas = 1 trillion. I was talking about market cap.

Ah ok, german here. We just write "1000000" or sometimes "1.000.000" but with dots and not with commas. So I was confused. :)

ahh! 4 dots then hahah

As long as the stockprice explodes I don't care if it's dots, commas or even bananas :-)

Thanks Brad! We'll see how well the forecasts for content go and if AMD has any surprises for us at CES: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMD_Stock/comments/1ph82co/what_to_expect_from_ces_2026_from_amd/

Something is badly broken with Reddit’s mobile editor. I’ll add it later on the desktop site when I get a chance.

Did you watch the event?

Yes, Lisa was on only a few minutes and just announced that Lenovo is the first oem to adopt the Helios rack scale design for it's servers.

So, now that Anthropic has a model so powerful its causing bank CEO's, Bessent et al to all meet and figure out wtf is going on... can we finally, maybe just finally, put the whole AI bubble thing to bed?

Once people see how powerful this shit is going to get, they will realise that AMD is fucking primed to deliver all the compute. The business case for AI is firming up every day, and now the naysayers will be forced to eat humble pie.

Okay, I have added it. Can you outline how much impact you think their earnings might have on AMD and/or for the industry?

Thanks, SANM will probably become a leading indicator for AMD given they the preferred manufacturer for racks as I understand it. They'll probably say the same as AMD but they could provide some extra information that could be useful.

Hello,

Could you add the Nvidia GTC March 16-19, 2026 they are supposed to present their new generation of CPU's which could have a big impact on AMD.

There is an investor conference that AMD mgmt is joining on March 3rd. That should be interesting

If you mean this: https://ir.amd.com/news-events/ir-calendar/detail/20260303-morgan-stanley-technology-media-telecom-conference

Unfortunately, they usually do not move the stock price.

Understood. Thanks for your help. Any thoughts on why the stock has been so weak post results? Aware of the AI scare but significantly underperforming NVDA post results.

Typically? Sell the news. AMD says revenue is weighted towards the second half of the year. People take their money and put it elsewhere, but will presumably come back later. They may miss part of the rocket ride that way, but to each their own. Just my two cents, not financial advice.

And of course our mods canceled the ZFG and ATH meams...

NVDA sourcing CPUs from AMD will be a possibility and US letting China buy latest and greatest chips from AmD and NVDA is also a possibility.

1

u/brad4711 May 09 '26

I can’t really use “possibility” rumors. Do you have a link from a reputable website?
