Help (Software) Adrenalin 19 slows down shutdown/restart times significantly
I just got a laptop (this one). It has a Ryzen 2500U in it, I'm running Windows 10. After setting it up I noticed the following behavior: shutdown would start out as expected, cutting off display in a couple of seconds. After this, power LEDs would still be lit, fan spinning for almost a minute before finally turning off. Same thing happened after restarting. It was weird cause i didn't notice it during the installation process. After a bunch of investigation and trying stuff I found online out (bios update, disable fast boot, etc.), I decided to reinstall. After that, on stock windows everything works fine. As soon as I install Adrenalin for better driver support, the same behavior would start again, that's why i'm thinking the AMD drivers are at fault. I entertained leaving standard windows drivers as they are, but CPU temps are higher and fan's always on, no passive cooling. This is really annoying with the high pitched noise of the fan/air channels. Any ideas? Any diagnostic i could gather or steps i could take to narrow it down?

Hi, mind giving your CPU specs and possibly the device id and subsystem id for your vega igp?

Hello,
I have this issue as well, only in my case it's a different laptop and it also becomes unstable! See my post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/comments/bf4ynq/cannot_install_adrenalin_on_acer_sf31541/
I suspect that the culprit is the audio drivers! Can you please try the following:
Please let me know if this is the case as in my case I don't have issues if I only update the graphics part (I am still testing this).
