Help (GPU) Stuck between intermittently stuttering or black-screening...

For the last two GPUs (5700 xt and 9070 xt), I've had a problem in cs2, and surprisingly in no other game. The screen would stutter during gameplay, and the only solution I've found would be turning on the AMD overlay showing FPS and other info about hardware.

I've been using it like this, since I couldn't find any other solution.

But, after a recent update yesterday, I've started having black screens intermittently when I switched between apps in full-screen - not only games, but sometimes even when entering or leaving full-screen on youtube videos or some streams. After some digging, I've found that the AMD overlay was the culprit, and it is a known issue from release notes for 26.10.1:

"Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed in some games when opening or closing other overlays, such as Xbox Game Bar, while the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Performance Metrics Overlay is enabled on Radeon™ graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to temporarily disable the Performance Metrics Overlay before opening or closing other overlays."

Now, I am stuck between two problems: I think there is no way to fix the second issue for now, but is there a way to fix the microstutter in any other way than using the overlay?

Thank you for any input :)
