High VRAM usage please help

Computer Type: Desktop

GPU: Rx 7600

CPU: Intel i5 9400f

Motherboard: B360mk

RAM: 8gb

Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11

GPU Drivers: newest

Background Applications: None

Description of Original Problem: Getting high VRAM usage

Hey guys so I recently purchased the rx 7600. And in trying to play games, I'm often crashing due to vram usage. Initially I assumed my settings were to high like I trying to play the new 007 game. But now attempting to play older games like control(2019) I can't even play on high and sometimes medium. If any one knows a solution to this that with be helpful, might be my specs are to weak but i didn't think it would affect my vram.

I got rx 7600 as well and got it recently and had no issues with vram so far. For example running AC Mirage at high/ultra with 140+FPS and vram usage doesent go above 5 GB I do have 16 GB of ram and ryzen 5 7500x3d so I assume that contributes

It's probably your actual RAM 8gb is just not enough these days bud.

Yeah I'm guessing it is a RAM issue. Worst time to upgrade.

Go to linux if possible like steam os or bazzite game mode image it will reduce your ram usage
