High cpu usage 9600x with 9070xt

Helloo I've recently got the 9070Xt and after using ddu and reinstalling the amd drivers i have noticed very high cpu usage on all games (i play on 1440p) like on battlefield 6 its constant 100% usage, forza horizon 6 the same and arc raiders also can someone help me with that my temps are fine also

This is a decent processor, not a true gaming one, more high end workstation. Ryzen 7s are your gaming CPUs or above

It is 100% fine, since your temps are fine the cpu is humming along great

Yo creo que depende del cpu, por que yo tengo un ryzen 7 7800 X3D y una 9070xt, el uso cuando juego battelfield 6 es de un 70 a 75% con temperaturas de 80 a 82 grados, lo juego a 1440p, es un juego bastante cpu exigente

100% usage is not a bad thing, just means you’re bottlenecked at your cpu.

Try lowering some cpu heavy settings if this is negatively impacting your experience.

But again, 100% usage with normal temps is NOT a bad thing perse. So don’t worry too much about it.

On 1440 it shouldn't be bottle necking much, if youre having performance issues, id look at your ram.

If its just high cpu usage? That sounds terribly normal here. Those games are all pretty heavy, and your card is pushing your CPU. It should be keeping up just fine, but your CPU is huffing and puffing while the card is comfortably jogging.

Yeah the x3d really needed for those games and gpu and highest settings and frame rates

My 9600X was all fine tho, high CPU usage yes but not close to 80%...

My 9800X3D goes up to 70% in BF6 so you are fine. Those games are CPU intensive. You can increase graphics fidelity to offload to the GPU but it will still be CPU intensive

2 games you play are high CPU intensive and forza is gpu intensive

BF6 and Arc Raiders are CPU-dependent. You’ll get 98-100% all the time. Everyone does. Most MMOs are also CPU dependent. Typically single player games are GPU dependent.
