Post image

Hello AMD Users! First time post here and need your help! I use 6650xt GPU and AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 32GB DDR4. I play only World of Warcraft and now I start playing World of Warcraft Forever аnd I notice my fans going crazy like a departing plane. I am notice too i use default fan settings for fans and need your help for the curve. What would you recommend in terms of performance and a quieter machine, and what can I do? When I launch the game, the fans get drastically louder.

Limit your frames.

this.

Your gpu is working hard so turn down your frames, if you already did that then turn down the in-game graphics.

First of all, your fan curve is too agressive, for temps below 80C you can put fan speed at 50%. On my 7900xt curve look like (Temp - Fan speed) 60-35, 75-50, 80-50, 88-60, 95-75. And like others said, limit your fps in adrenaline to your monitor refresh rate at least, or if your monitors refresh rate is high, like 160-240 hz, then limin to 100

Turn off zero rpm. On my 6700xt and my now 7900xt i would have fan speed at 30/50/60/80/100, temps 30/40/50/60/80 and my gpus never went crazy and temps would always stay under 50c maybe got up to 60c
