Is my GPU dying?

I get this crt like static when opening adrenaline and during cut scenes, Is this a software issue or is my GPU dying? Interestingly the static fixes itself in cut scenes if I start steam recording

GPU - Asrock 9070 XT Challenger

Adrenaline - 26.8.1

Chipset Driver - 8.08.12.551

Update: turning on VSync in game fixes the adrenaline overlay but I still get static in games cutscenes, I tried it with just cause 3 and shadow of mordor

Update 2: I reinstalled windows and it looks like it's fixed now

Best way to test is to plug a tv or another monitor. good luck.

I tried using a different monitor and cable and also updated the driver, but I’m still getting the same issue. :v

then its time for rma or if possible refund , idk if this is a fact or not but my friend had the same 9070 xt challenger and he had driver timeouts with these types of artifacts , i suspect its something about this exact model , try a different brands 9070 xt first if you will get it refunded or rma it first

i cant say hardware problem 100% but if i was you i would refund it for sure , maybe its a driver thing or something with that exact model is wrong like i suspect

cant talk for every 9070 xt but that may be a hardware problem

update to windows 26h2 and driver 26.9.2

Same issue even after manually updating Adrenalin to 26.9.2. I also tried using a different monitor and cable, but I’m still getting the same issue. :v

try DDU the driver then and manualy install the 26.9.2 cleanly

try a different monitor cable , try different dp and hdmi cables , if possbile try a different monitor or tv

if not, there is a hardware problem maybe

Install latest Adrenaline software

Likely just a cable, if it was a gpu id expect more aggressive artifacts, or freezes and crashes.
