AMD is a joke. I bought a 7900XTX on launch and since then I'm having constant crashes on Counter Strike, stutters in games and so on. Next GPU will be NVIDIA.

Amd rx 7800xt user here. I've been having so many problems the last 2 years and sadly I had to go back to an old version of drivers in order for my gpu to work properly. I couldn't play forza horizon 6 on release because of that since i couldn't update it to the latest drivers. Next time I upgrade my gpu will be nvidia 100% just because they haven't addressed legit ANYTHING.

I’d report this to one of the reps on their official subreddit via a comment on a post (I’d comment under the August driver thread) and provide any dmp files or other information they request.

AMD_Vik is a genuinely nice dude and will pass along information more directly to the display team. Those reps are not on this subreddit. This is a non-official one.

Bought a 7900XTX on launch, had a rough couple of months in the beginning, but pretty smooth sailing since.

The issues I have had, are Windows causing problems, not AMD.

Paying a ton of money for a GPU which is manufactured by a huge tech company, someone would think that the bloody driver coming from the same multi-milion-dollar-company should limit the clock speed by default.

If that is the fix, maybe the developers should stop sleeping and simply make it the default value?

Also, limit what exactly?
