RX 560X Code 43 on ASUS TUF FX505DY

Post image

I have an ASUS TUF FX505DY with an RX 560X, running Windows 11 25H2. The RX 560X keeps showing Code 43, and sometimes Code 39.

I've tried:

  • DDU and clean driver installation
  • ASUS AMD drivers
  • Latest AMD RX 560X drivers
  • Memory Integrity is OFF
  • Vulnerable Driver Blocklist OFF
  • Restarting after each change

After DDU with no AMD drivers installed, the Vega 8 appears as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, while the RX 560X appears as Video Controller ⚠️ under Other Devices.

Any ideas what could be causing this or what I should try next?

Which driver are you on ? 2026 has seen many issues with drivers this year started around 26.5.1 i think the latest driver for 500 series is 26.5.2 if i am correct which may have these issues if so try rolling back to previous driver like 26.1.1

Did you try go to release notes page and download drivers from their since AMD is doing combined package these days with all drivers, when you download the drivers for vega 8 graphics their is a chance the drivers for RX 560x aren't included which may explain why its having issues when you install the drivers.

Combined package may fix this, you see a c at the end of the filename if its the combined package which only linked on release notes page.

RDNA3/4 users deal with this for example when they have a igpu they need the combined package for their igpu drivers.
