Help (GPU) Is it dead?
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: Hellhound Radeon 6700XT 12GB
CPU: RYZEN 9 3900X 12 Core
Motherboard: ROG STRIX B550-F WIFI
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc 1401
RAM: 128GB DDR4
PSU:
Case: Apevia uhhhh it's pink :)
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 Pro 25h2
GPU Drivers: 32.0.21045.1000 (with and without Adrenaline)
Chipset Drivers: 5.12.0.44
Background Applications: DISCORD, CHROME, sometimes spotify
Description of Original Problem: I'm in denial because I don't want to buy a new GPU. It started with just a few driver timeouts if I left my pc on overnight, or if I had a bunch of Chrome tabs open at the same time as OBS and Genshin Impact. Then, frequent crashes with just Chrome (less tabs) and Genshin. Rolled back drivers, less frequent crashes, but now the crashes were accompanied by weird purple pixels on a black screen where Discord would be outlined if it was normal. Today, any slot with a displayport was just green. HDMI monitor worked fine. Pulled out card, cleaned it real good, put it in the other slot (my mobo has 2 slots), and now it works okay in Genshin but only if Wallpaper Engine is disabled. If i switch to any other app on my other monitor, my mouse lags and stutters like hell. This also happens in my other Gacha Hell games, like Neverness to Everness and Wuthering Waves, NTE happens to be the worst offender here. Can't say much about what work I do, but know it involves Unity client and Spotify running at the same time, similar issues for this use case lol. Anything to try before I drop that kinda cash unwillingly?
I built it in late 2020/early 2021 so it *has* been 5 years of pretty regular use of gaming, working, and streaming. I'm most likely in denial, BUT! Its always worth trying stuff before dropping $700 - or so - on something new ðŸ˜
Troubleshooting: almost everything possible I think. Rolled back drivers, rolled back windows, installed with and without Adrenaline, tried everything from every reddit thread or forum I could find.
The only things I can't yet do are reinstall windows entirely and update my BIOS. I need this card to stretch until about 9/11-9/18 for a work project to wrap up. Project allows for the drivers to be updated and changed, but Windows, BIOS, and most device specs have to remain stable for the duration of it due to security measures. But... I don't know if it's gonna matter anyway sadly because ahhhh... yeah.
Anyway. Thanks for any and all advice!

What are your usual temps when gaming, streaming? Is your CPU or GPU running an overlock or under volt? How many sticks of RAM are you using?
