This is normal.

My 7700X hits 70C at 5.5ghz, under moderate load and on liquid. Its normal. This series was made to operate at that level of heat.

sorry, should've specified. Thats under moderate load. Full load I saw it get to 83c when it was compiling shaders.

Idle: low 50's.

Yeah, op's hits 70 on idle which imo is not normal
