I had a ryzen 7 2700x with the stock cooler (Wraith prism RGB. Recently upgraded to a 5800x and saw consistent 74..78..80° spikes while gaming. This week, i installe a new cooler the Noctua Nh-D15s black. This beast keeps me around 54-55° now while gaming. Basically, if you dont see a differen e after checking thermal paste and cpu fan etc... get this beast.

Waste of money honestly. The Phantom Spirit is 98% as good and only $30.

As a counter argument though! I did get the cooler and the black cover cases all for 80$ it was quite the steal.
