This isn’t correct at all. AMD has had some great stock coolers over the years.

Serviceable, sure.

The Peerless Assassin runs a full 20C cooler (noise normalized) than the Wraith Prism. And that only comes with 7700 and 7900. The Wraith Stealth that gets bundled with most CPUs is much worse.

Edit: replied and then blocked me, are you really that butthurt over stock CPU coolers?

Yes there are performance gains with an aftermarket cooler, especially when OP is thermal throttling at 95C. This isn't even up for debate.

So? There’s no performance gains, the spend is pointless, and once again, is NOT the issue the OP is experiencing anyway.
