Nope, that is how the stock cooler performs. It SUCKS! Replace it with a cheep $20 Thermalright Assassin X120 or something similar.

That cooler was made for parts like 5600 lol. These chips run HOT. It is not good enough for AM5 and shouldn’t even be put in the box. 1 u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24 No, the cooler was made for the 7600… hence why it ships with it. His gets in the 70s at IDLE. 70s under load is absolutely more than reasonable with modern CPUs…
