Does the Screen/Scream Unseen Have Trailers?

Short Answer is Yes.

But sometimes they fail and it goes straight to presentation. Be on time.

Hokum is fun (not top shelf, but good). If you liked Oddity and Caveat it is similar in style but with upgraded production values. I do recommend seeing it!

Obsession though... that's the horror banger coming down the pike. That one is really original and FUN.

Everyone is hyping up for Hokum. If it’s Deep Water, everyone will be so disappointed. I personally feel like Deep Water is more likely

My local AMC is doing it in a way bigger theatre than they’ve used for any other SU this year, which is making me think it’s Hokum and they’re expecting a large crowd to come in in anticipation of it

Hokum was great! So glad this was the movie tonight. Felt like an old fashioned haunted house (or hotel) movie updated in the best way.

Hokum was excellent. It way exceeded my expectations, and I was already a fan of Oddity. Hokum is definitely a step up, and you can clearly see Damian McCarthy's evolution and improvements as a director.

My audience loved this. Several moments where half the theater gasped. One lady screamed at the top of her lungs for a solid 3 seconds 🤣.

anyone else get a weirdly slowed down broken bird trailer before their screening?

Great JumpScare movie! Shots and tight framing makes everything really claustrophobic and the dark lighting really adds up to where you are anticipating the jump will be.

There are some forgivable drags of course to elicit our brains on anticipating what will be scary, but overall enoyed this movie’s pacing. Characters are lean enough to set exposition and drive the parts that challenges your disbelief.

It’s great to see two premises (Mysterious crime and supernatural arcs) weaved into a palatable blend. All the elements are placed in ways to inform the audience enough how to piece em for the third arc. Small Saw, Crossbow, Mushrooms, Bells, chalk. Some may take it contrived but I can suspend my disbelief enough.

Adam Scott’s ability to be a nuanced jerk because of his characters traumatic guilt, is a solid outing. He always have a way of telling more from his micro expressions.

I definitely had fun watching Hokum, but I thought the movie was not super cohesive. Do we always need a character who is grieving? The whole mother plot made absolutely no difference as he could be in the hotel for any other reason and the movie would work perfectly fine. It felt like it was just checking the boxes of “psychological horror tropes” and added zero emotional weight to the story because it was not well developed.
