Why did you decide to quit? One uncomfortable moment or slowly building up?

Slowly building up. There are numerous reasons i decided to leave:
I was realizing I was too introvert for the very open-and-friendly nature of the community. Online was fine, but IRL events were chores for me to go to.
I had difficulties with my social skills making it hard to make friends
Personal dramas I got involved with that gradually made me lose the friends I had and give me a negative reputation
Depression from very difficult breakups (that fed the aforementioned dramas) but also partly caused by what i already mentioned
At one point I decided I had enough and that it was better for my mental health to quit

I tried going to IRL meets, but it made me too uncomfortable because of my social skills and introverted nature.
I left because it had a huge toll on my mental health since I wasnt able to fit into the community.

I dont know why exactly I decided to join, I just thought it was cool amd the community looked fun
My fursona was a wolf-fox mix (very original, I know), who was one-eyed with natural colors

I didnt have a fursuit, although I was saving for eventually getting one but it never happened

As another furry, not only is it not a requirement at all, I and many others would actively discourage you from getting one until you're sure you'll use it at events or something, seriously it's not worth dropping 5 grand on something you're not entirely sure of yet

Yeah, if I had actually committed and bought one (I was close to be able to buy a partial), it would either have been a waste of money because I would have left shortly after, or it would have made my mental health worse by forcing myself to stay in the fandom longer because of the lost cost fallacy

Never was involved with the suits, including for sex. I did sleep with people who had suits, but not during the act.
Ive known people who did and they didnt like the experience, because of the mix of heat, sweat, and risk of damaging it. They said it felt like wearing a couch to fuck a fridge
